Amy Poehler is a writer, actress, producer, director, and one of Hollywood's most versatile and sought after talents. who grew up in the country spending many idle and hot summers alone incubating and exploring her wily desires. Amy Poehler joined the Saturday Night Live cast from the Upright Citizens Brigade, an improv troupe she co-founded. Her eight seasons on Saturday Night Live gave us memorable impressions of Hillary Clinton, Kelly Ripa, Avril Lavigne, Sharon Osbourne, Paula Abdul, Sharon Stone and Michael Jackson. She received an unprecedented Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series" for her work on Saturday Night Live, making Amy Poehler the first performer in SNL history to land a spot in this category. She went on to receive a second nomination in this category for her work on her final season the following year.

She splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles, and lives with her two boys.
