Cotton Cloud’s Natural Dream Millet Pillow has two chambers. One chamber is filled with our fluffy Natural Felt Wool batting farmed in the Pacific Northwest and manufactured in the State of Oregon. The second chamber is filled with natural millet hulls. The millet supports and cradles your head while the wool cushions you. Best for Side-Sleepers.
These pillows are finished in either organic cotton sateen fabric or organic waffle fabric.
Amazing Handcrafted bed pillows available in one size, our Standard Square 18 inches x 21 inches. .
Hypoallergenic, people with sensitivities to chemically produced synthetics can sleep easily with pure wool. Natural, wool is sustainable harvested from healthy, happy sheep in the Pacific NW, not produced in a factory.
Temperature Controlled, wool is warm in cool weather, cool when it’s warm. Its fibers form pockets of air which insulate you naturally. You’ll stay dry with wool and won’t feel damp or chilled because wool wicks moisture away from your body. Naturally Fire Retardant, wool extinguishes itself when touched to a flame acting as a natural fire retardant. Dust Mite Repellant, dust mites need moisture to survive. Wool evaporates moisture quickly and is inhospitable to dust mites. This is good news for children and adults with allergies and asthma. Supporting & Soothing, those who suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis and rheumatism find that wool supports them with cushioned softness. Wool’s springiness relieves pressure points and muscle aches. Hospitals have used wool to enhance their patient’s comfort for years. Comfort Controlling, the average person loses a pint of sweat every night as they sleep. Wool wicks moisture away from your body and enables it to evaporate away from you.
You are assured that the following is true:
Proper Grazing Methods: Adequate field rotation to decrease soil erosion and to reduce the risk of sheep acquiring internal parasites.
Predator Friendly: Growers are encouraged to use trained sheep guardian dogs (not trapping or shooting) and the inclusion of other large animals, such as llamas, to guard the flock.
Healthy Veterinary Practices: Only certain kinds of medications and supplements are used to treat the sheep. Alternative caring methods are used to keep the sheep healthy with fewer chemicals.
Chemical Control: Natural Felt opposes the use of herbicides and pesticides on the fields that sheep graze on.
Natural Felt is able to determine if the growers use those chemicals with their routine wool chemical testing.
Scouring: Natural Felt carding mill has searched out the mildest and most environmentally friendly detergent possible for the scouring (cleaning) of the wool. Today, all of their wool is cleaned with Biosoft Wool Scouring Detergent, which leaves no detectable residue and is biodegradable.
Your wool bedding is ready to use. There are no chemicals located in our production facility, no animals on-site, and we have a fragrance-free environment. Please be aware, that all organic fabrics have an applied “finish” at the mill. For our organic fabrics, the mills use either a soybean or corn starch finish-added to keep the fabric from wrinkling. This is a natural finish and does not need to be removed before use.
