Fluoride: The Preponderance of Evidence
Ellen Connett is Managing Director of The Fluoride Action Network, with over 20 year’s experience researching environmental toxins. Here are some of the facts she shares:
Fluoride is a Hormone Disruptor. Endocrine system disrupting toxins are often associated with cancer.
Cancers associated with Fluoride are Bladder, Lung, Uterine, Oral, and Osteosarcoma.
Mother's breast milk has .004 parts per million fluoride. Babies fed with formula (diluted with fluoridated tap water) receive up to 250 times more fluoride.
Fluoride has been reported to reduce the IQ in children.
African American children have significantly higher levels of the more severe forms of dental fluorosis. This is an environmental justice issue.
There are many sources of exposure: fluoridated drinking water, foods prepared with this water, fluoridated bath water, dental products like toothpaste, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and industrial emissions.
Recommended Filters to remove fluoride from drinking, cooking, bathing water: Reverse Osmosis and Distillation.
The Fluoride Action Network (FAN) seeks to broaden awareness about the toxicity of fluoride among citizens, scientists, and policymakers. FAN, with 53,000 members, remains vigilant in monitoring government agency actions that impact our exposure to fluoride.
