Q. What are your ethically sourced woman made products all about?

A. Shopping at GREENWOMANSTORE changes women’s lives. You are supporting women and their families and communities. You also support the Earth, Fair Trade, and sustainable and ethical business practices. Brava, Connected Consumerism!

We love supporting women’s small, medium and large scale businesses who are contributing to the ever growing green products revolution. We love women’s minds, women’s sustainable solutions, the way we women are connected to the earth, and the many ways women share. Research tells us that when the resources are directed toward the women, everyone benefits!

All products sold on GREENWOMANSTORE are ethically produced by women owned businesses.  At GREENWOMANSTORE, we empower women who have great ideas and exciting products at all levels of their business life, and at the same time help consumers feel that they are connected to community, earth friendly manufacturing, ethical business practices, fairness and fair trade — where every purchase feels good and safe for our families and our environment.

Q. What is sliding scale pricing?

A. You will notice that some of our products are offered at “Sliding Scale pricing.”  This is a way of making our products available to shoppers at all income levels. Those who have more pay more, those who have less pay less:

Subsistence Level are those of us who are barely making it, who have needs and wants like the rest of us, but who have less money to spend and little money for extras.

Self-Sustaining Level are those of us who have have jobs, go out to dinner regularly, we add to our wardrobes regularly, and we have extra money at the end of the month.

Philanthropic Level are those of us who tend to spend more, save more, and are able to share our wealth more.  We thank you for sharing!

Q. What payment methods does GREENWOMANSTORE accept?

A. We use PayPal or Stripe to process your order. Both options accept various credit cards around the world.

Q. When does GREENWOMANSTORE charge your customer’s credit cards?

A. At the time your purchase is confirmed on our Shopping Cart.

Q. Does GREENWOMANSTORE store my credit card information:

A. No, we do not store or keep any of your credit card information.

Q. What information do you keep on users of GREENWOMANSTORE?

A. We retain your emails, phone numbers, addresses, and order histories for accounting purposes. We never share or sell any of your information.

Q, Can I call in my order if I am not comfortable ordering online?

A.  At this time, we do not accept phone orders as our online ordering process is safe and secure.  We use Stripe or PayPal to process your credit cards securely and with the highest industry standard encryption. We never sell or trade your personal information to anyone.  A confirmation email is sent when the order is placed.

Q Can I change or cancel an order?

A. Yes, if your order has not already been shipped. Please call us 859-314-3397 or email us at sales[at]greenwomanstore.com as soon as possible. As soon as you hit the submit button, our fulfillment process is set in motion.  Fast shipping is a goal of all our artists and manufacturers.

Q How does GREENWOMANSTORE ship orders?

A. Every order is shipped by the woman owned business that manufactures the product. This means that shippers used will vary. You will see the shipping method and cost in the Product Description for each and every product.

Q. How can I check the status of my order?

A. You will receive an email from us as soon as your order is placed to let you know your order has been received.  You may receive additional communication from the woman business owner. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking number when your order is shipped. Please call our Customer Care if you have questions about the status of your order: 859-314-3397.

Q. What if I put in the wrong or incomplete shipping or billing address  during checkout?

A. Please call or email us asap.  Once your order is placed, it is sent to the woman  manufacturer for shipping. She will need your correct and complete shipping address including apartment or suite number to fill your order and get it to you promptly.

Q. What do you charge for shipping?

A. You will find many items SHIP FREE!  Each woman business owner decides her cost of shipping and that is passed on to you, her customer.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. If international shipping is available, you will see it offered on the “Product Description”, during Checkout, or as a price difference in the drop down choices.  We look forward to offering more international shipping in the future, and apologize for any inconvenience.

Q. Can I request a printed catalog, and how often do you add new products?

A. We add new products daily and weekly, so it would be impossible to have an up-to-date print catalog. We are also an environmentally friendly business, and try to save as many trees as possible, another reason we don’t print a full catalog. Our website is our online catalog to showcase all the beautiful, useful and sustainable woman made products we offer.  Ordering online is safe and secure.
