Boycott Corporate Media
It seems we have just experienced a “Media Coup” in our country. The only candidate on television news was D. Trump. Thanks to Ronald Reagan, there are no regulations limiting the number of media outlets any one person can own. Literally all of our television news stations are controlled by right wing Libertarian corporate billionaire supporters of D. Trump — especially Fox News — the only on air news available in many parts of the U.S. Boycott corporate media! Don’t let yourself be uneducated. Listen, watch, and support Independent Progressive Media where critical issues are discussed.
Here are some suggestions for our Holiday Boycott to begin and continue into the New Year:
Free Speech TV – National Independent News
Link TV – Quality Television Without Borders
ThomHartmann.com – News, Opinion & Debate
DemocracyNow.org – Daily Independent News
Now, in 2017, with the Libertarian right wing and tea party having fought so hard to establish State’s Rights, we will have a different kind of Revolution over the next few years. These newfound States’ Rights will help us to fend off the federal/trump/fascist reforms the right wing establishment will attempt to bring about.
That’s the good news. But we still have to resist. We will have to find rest where we can, and vote with our dollars. Women decide how 85% of every consumer dollar is spent! It’s time to spend our shopping dollars wisely. A Holiday Boycott Buycott is called for to protect our progressive social and economic priorities. Boycott the corporations that are controlling our government, our votes, our media, and our food supply.
Austerity programs (economic/structural reform) promoted by the U.S. and the IMF in countries like Greece and Egypt, are now being promoted to U.S. Citizens in the name of “privatization” — a new word for Reagan Economics — which has been responsible for the 30-year decline of America’s blue collar and middle class workers. The demise of our unions was part of this targeted decline because the unions were the biggest financial contributors to the Democratic Party. With the demise of the unions has come the disappearance of our progressive liberal democratic party and it’s funding support base.
With only the Republican Party having financial support, largely from corporations and the Billionaires who own them, some of whom swing back and forth between government positions and their positions as CEOs, our government is now a corporate bureaucracy. These same billionaires own our media, giving rise to the escalation of hate crimes we are seeing today.
